Why not try something different and take a short winter break in Strathyre, the first village in the Scottish Highlands this winter?
We offer winter breaks in central Scotland (8 miles north of Callander) at special rates from November through to March (excluding Christmas). The house is double glazed throughout and has full central heating and we provide electric blankets too. The winter days may be short but when blessed by favourable weather, the clear crisp air and snow-clad hills make for marvellous walking.
There are many places of interest to visit within the surrounding area with most operating throughout the year. To give you some idea of the options available and help you plan your winter break, see our suggestions for days out.
We also have a guest lounge and conservatory in which you can relax and enjoy the views or while away the evenings over a book or DVD.

Winter Break Room Rates Per Person for 2009
Note that these rates apply from November 1st 2009 to 30th March 2010 except for December 24th to January 2nd inclusive.
Rates for two nights
- Double/Twin En-Suite - £26 per night (normally £29)
3 nights for the price of 2 / Rates for three or more nights
One night is free and remaining nights are at normal rates.Debit and credit cards are accepted in addition to cash and cheques.
